We don't know. And that is kind of sad.
This website has a built in tracking feature that allows for the analyzing of traffic that provides information about the number of users, location of users, and the amount of time people spend on the website.
We do not sell this information. But we don't know if the tracking feature is run by a company that does sell this information. And we don't know if this site is monitored or hacked in a way that the data can be sold.
We resent the constant, ubiquitous, and frankly counterproductive "cookie consent" requirements.
We propose the following to improve the future free flow of information and access to improve the internet.
Like food products, certain symbols are used to convey the food meets the requirements. For example a symbol for Kosher, Gluten Free, Vegetarian, etc...
Should a website contain a Stack of Pancakes Symbol, it would mean the website does not sell or proliferate the user's data.
If a website contains a Chocolate Chip Cookie Symbol, it would mean the website does sell or proliferate a user's data. The cookie symbol could be a clickable feature for users to further manage options.
The current form of Cookie Pop-Up - CLICK HERE - is fraught with pitfalls. It is ripe for review and change.
